The quality and speed of ultrasonic cleaning is not only determined by the cleaning power of your cleaner; the correct ultrasonic cleaning fluid is also an important factor. Besides a universally compatible fluid, there are many varieties of cleaning agents, each with their own areas of application and composition.
Use of the wrong cleaning agents will have a negative effect on the quality and duration of any cleaning. In certain cases, it could even result in damage to the cleaned products. Therefore, it is very important that you carefully choose the correct cleaning agents..

Using the correct fluid
All ultrasonic cleaners from Ultra Center Europe are suitable for use with water-based cleaning agents. This cleaning agents is also available from Ultra Center Europe. Every type of cleaning agents that we supply is provided with an indication of suitable applications.

Mix ratio
In addition to the correct type of fluid, the right mix ratio is important if you are going to achieve good cleaning results. The mix ratio is always indicated on the fluid’s packaging. A number of fluids, which are ready for use, are also available. This means that they do not have to be mixed with water. This is, of course, indicated on the packaging of the fluids in question.

In order to compare the prices between the various cleaning agentss, you should first calculate the cost of a similar amount of cleaning fluid once it's been mixed with water.

Example
In both scenarios, we’ve used cleaning agents packaged in a 2-litre bottle.

Product 1
The mix ratio of product 1 is 2% (2 litres of fluid yields 100 litres of cleaning fluid). This 2-litre bottle costs € 15.
Once it has been mixed with water, this 2-litre bottle yields 100 litres of usable fluid.
Therefore, the cost per litre of cleaning fluid amounts to € 15.00 / 100 litres = € 0.15 per litre.

Product 2
The mix ratio of product 2 is 1% (1 litre of fluid yields 100 litres of cleaning fluid). This 2-litre bottle costs € 20.
Once it has been mixed with water, this 2-litre bottle yields 200 litres of usable fluid.
Therefore, the cost per litre of this type of cleaning fluid amounts to € 20.00 / 200 litres = € 0.10 per litre.

Although a 2-litre bottle of product 2 has a higher purchase price, it is the better-priced bottle in the long run. This is because – due to the more favourable mix ratio – it can be used to make double the amount of cleaning fluid.
